The stylish Resort is nestled amongst 50 acres of tropical gardens, amidst tall swaying palm trees and is bordered by a professionally designed 18 Hole Championship Golf course, which opened in mid 2007. The Resort is stunningly located on a stretch of white sand beach with its own blue turquoise lagoon and was one of the first sites where the Polynesian migrants landed when they set foot on the Samoa Islands some 3000 years ago. The Resort offers the very best in service and comfort. Aggie Grey's Lagoon, Beach Resort & Spa has a unique design which represents the authentic ancient Samoan culture, high beams grace you in the open aired lobby foyers to the spacious comforts of our Restaurants and Bar areas. Local sennet is used as much as possible on our wood carved beams. The architecture of the sprawling Resort blends in with the magnificent views of the blue and green azure lagoons and the Big Island's of Savaii, Apolima and Manono which sit on the near by horizon.

Every angle at the Resort allows you maximum advantage of the turquoise lagoon that graces the Resort…in fact everything at this Resort has a view of the ocean or the Championship Golf Course which surrounds it, turquoise blue or natural green!

One of the most exciting revelations during the construction of the Resort was the discovery of a 100 year old church tucked amongst the trees. Built out of burnt coral, the 100 year old Church has been reconstructed to its original stature and will be an important venue for weddings and other receptions. The Church stands next to the Lobby and Foyer areas of the Resort. So if you're looking for a romantic wedding, it would be difficult to imagine anything better for a private Sunset Wedding Ceremony.

Be as active as you like…or perfect the fine art of doing very little over a poolside cocktail. Bring the family, we’ll make sure the wee ones are kept busy at our Dolphin Kids Club.
Their daily activity programme includes: nature and beach walks, guided village tours, snorkelling, swimming pool games plus excursions to explore 'Upolu Island and Apia.

At the Resort

We love sharing our culture, and welcome you to watch or take part in traditional kava ceremonies, local umu food preparation, traditional wood and canoe carving or traditional weaving techniques. On Sundays, join a traditional service at one of the many village churches near the Resort. Be moved by the powerful singing and lovingly maintained buildings at the heart of every Samoan community.

Have fun in the warm waters near the Resort. For diving, snorkelling and plenty of other water sports, check out Aqua Samoa. Embark on an adventure to the fascinating nearby islands of Apolima and Manono – they’ll even help you plan a romantic picnic! Or catch the daily ferry, which departs from near the resort for the large island of Savaii.

In the Area
If you would like to visit Apia for shopping, dining or even to catch a movie, ask at reception for their complimentary shuttle between the Resort and Aggie Grey's Hotel & Bungalows Monday to Saturday departing the resort at 9.30am and leaving the hotel at 3.00pm. Bookings are essential and should be made one day in advance at reception.
